Red Oak High School’s Bass Club recently volunteered at Cedar Hill State Park for the Texas Parks and Wildlife sponsored program, Go Fish.
Program participants rotated through four stations manned by volunteers. The stations included how to tie knots, tackle box basics, ecology, and basic casting. 
After the participants finished with the stations, they were provided fishing poles and were able to fish in the perch pond. Many children and adults caught their first fish during this event.
ROHS Bass Club volunteers were Kyle Pickard, Luke Stanford, Caleb Moore and Jacob Stanford.
